    Mid layers

    Hi folks!

So as my hunting plans are targeting one thing and 2 things only- Big stags/bucks or Chamois.

Of which every free weekend I get I'll be out in the tent being very specific about my quarry.

For my winter missions I run a Tatonka 70+10 bison pack, merino long John's and top.
Stoney creek 6 pocket shorts(the ones they don't make anymore! Naughty!) Then a Stoney creek The rock top with a Stoney creek Tundra jacket plus gloves and beanie and gaiters etc.

However I've found I need a mid layer but I still want it to be light and shower proof.
I'm just tossing up between do I get a vest or a lighter jacket or Use my Rock top as a mid layer and then buy a regular fleece as a base type layer?

As I'm playing in the snow lots too so hence the need for a bit more warmth(75kg of skin and bone sucks in this respect lol)

    Cheers Folks!
