Thread: Mid-size pack?

Have a look at the spiker range I have been using there 40l pack & load carrying frame for a few years now & I'm not going away from that set up. When I bought mine there was only the spiker & the expensive use ones around so couldn't try on in shop to see witch frame would fit my body so if I had to buy again I would try all frames in & the same price bracket with weight to see what fits the body best. What I really like about it is when fly camping I can put all my gear in the 40l pack & as long as It fits in the pack on the way in it fit in the way out when you're loaded with meat. When I have been meat harvesting on farms & had to shoot fallow on the bottom sid off the track just head down the hill with frame sit hole deer in meat shelf & it's so comfortable to carry out & no blood all down your back. To start with it probably is a bit off pissing round getting used to using the load shelf especially when darks coming but after done it a few times it's quick & easy I also think spiker have brought out a new model that makes it easier now
