    Mkm sizings and experiences

Hi team, looking at an mkm Tasman.

I have two of their wool shearers singlets one in L that fits well and an xl which is fairly long.
Im 6'3 lean to mid build. Im tending towards XL but concerned they are big sizes. I dont want to swim in it.

What are peoples experiences on tasman/ jumper sizings and quality.

    Cheers

I have one of their 36.6 hoodies. Going by their sizing advice, I would have been covered by a medium but the wife convinced me a large would be better and she was right. I am certainly not swimming in it. I could easily wear a thermal top and say a flannel shirt under it. Quality wise it is brilliant and damn it is warm. A friend has the Tasman and he never wants to take his off especially down in Canterbury during the cooler parts of the year.

The non hood is bigger fitting that the hoody. I have a XL hoody which is almost too small, and a XL non hoody and it’s too big. Great jerseys tho wear them every day of the winter months.

Well it landed and I'm impressed. Size wise its spots on. The lining is soft and warm. Good shape and cut to the garment and looks to be well made. Feels awesome on. Yet to take it off. Unfortunately, my partner has eyes on it. I can see another order in her size about to happen.

I ordered the 2 x active singlets in merino. Used one on a recent trip around the hut at night and for sleeping in. Long enough to keep the Crown Jewels/ upper part of the lower body warm which is so good. Super warm, but perfect in merino for sleeping in, help regulate temperature. The one I got for my son was too large - they are a long cut. So I sent it back to swap out for an active merino teeshirt. It turned up today, perfect fit (for me), and will be going out on my next hunt under my Swazi fleeze micro shirt. Great, pragmatic service. Job done
