I have had it happen when the leather of the outer rubs against the leather of the tongue where it is folded under.(I have a pair of Lowas that still do it). I figured this out by putting some leaves in between the tongue and outer which stopped it. Not a practical solution but if that is what is squeaking then a bit of sand paper on the surfaces to roughen the leather fixes it.
I have a pair of Alpina boots that did the same when New. Give a good wax, oil or whatever you use on tops of the tongue and inside of the top of boot where it laces up over the tongue. Problem solved

Thanks. I tried a few different waxes/oils but found it was only a temporary fix. Doesn't bother me too much with the Lowas as I don't wear them hunting.
