I've got the one man tent. It's fine. Wouldn't want to take it up Mt. Cook, but for a bit of north island bush hunting, it's fine. Has stayed dry in showers. Haven't tested it in torrential rain. Well made, small and light. Groundsheet is a bit thin, but that it going to be true of any lightweight tent. The only thing I don't like is that you have to put up the inner before the outer which means it wouldn't be much fun putting it up in the rain, but still pretty quick. There are a few video reviews on YouTube.
Yep as above, they're pretty good. I have the cloud UP. As others they're really a 1 man plus gear.
Have a 2 man one its ok like above wouldn’t use in extreme weather but has help up so far handful of times iv used it. I use floor mat as material is very thin and would rip easy on a rock. Will be getting a more heavy duty one next time round.
I have a Mongar 2, which is basically a Hubba hubba copy, only used camping, weighs in around 2kg from memory. I can't fault it so far.
I also have a smaller one man tent for my boy and I have had to re-sew one small section on the fly, an attachment point was only glued on and not stitched so it let go after a weeks use.
Intents Outdoors also have a copy that is similar, a Hopper 2.

On the intents outdoors website the blog there is good info on tent materials, waterproofness, twin wall/single wall pros and co. Makes comparing tents from manufactures easyer to understand
yea have a 2 man nature hike tent, have found it good and worth the $ have not had it in any testing weather conditions but being a lightweight tent I don't think it would stand up to extreme conditions but even the expensive lightweight ones do not either.
Thanks guys good info
Just watch the length, I had one that I only did 2 nights in before selling it. I called it the coffin as it was so small inside and only 2m in length inside, one of the cheap lightweight ones that you need a walking pole to pitch it. I'm 6 foot and with he low angles at the ends both my feet and head touched the ends.
