    Need a custom hnife maker in NZ ?

    Hi Guys ,

    After names of custom knife makers here in NZ , after some one to make a large fixed blade for me .

    I'm testing one of John's knives at the moment. It's in Elmax steel. I'm very impressed. Very well made.
    I'm writing a report that I will put in the gear section.

    I've got 2 Damian Hanrahan knifes very happy and getting to get him to make me a machete next he's in CHCH let me know if you want to see them or his number

    If you type custom knives nz into Google you get quite a few names and sites, but just wondering why that particular style? Seems like it would take a lot of steel and therefore be rather pricey, and a machete is for use not for the shelf, may be a better option to get someone to modify a bolo rather than make one from scratch...

    I personall have one of his, have tested the one that Tahr has and sell his to my clients all the time......hope that is a good testimonial LOL Have 1 of his Hoki Hunters at the meoment
