    Get over yourself, seriously.

You are obviously involved with Dead Eye Dicks. Can't figure out if you are the owner or just a staff member but if it such a bit issue, just update your profile...

Either way, if you bought the tent and paid retail like the common folks on here, then just say it. If you are selling the tent @ DED, then yup it's pushing the boundaries a bit unless you pay for advertising like several other people have done.

And yes, there are some double standards, but YOU have a simple choice. If you want to represent a retail outlet on the forum, buy advertising and do it properly. In my opinion, and I am only one potential customer, you are not doing your brand any favours...

    Nice tent BTW

Yes I am at Deadeye Dicks , I am a staff member and have no financial interest in the company , I am on here as a private member as i am with the old forum and have been long before i started work here and try to contribute privately as such , but if i give any sort of advise or opinions on anything i am shot down because of where i work? I have had alot of experience with gear etc relating to this sport but if my opinion cant be given with been blasted for been biased or accused of advertising then whats the point of belonging to a public forum where people ask questions or seek advice .

Its a certain few on here that need to get over themselves , I dont advertise on here , The gun i advised on here was my own , as was the hubba hubba for sale ( see my fiordland story ) I just posted a pic of my new tent on here for interest of people looking at such , I wouldnt dare say where i got it because of you lot but i didnt put it up to advertise it for fuks sake and who gives ashit how much i paid for it , its not for sale , The reason i dont get involved in alot of conversations is because i keep getting shit for where i work , If i pumped gas for a livinh would it make a difference? I have alot of knowledge , take it or leave it i couldnt give a shit but i joined to be in a sharing forum where i can ask questions about others experiences with gear/ hunting blocks / service providers and enjoy reading other stories about hunting etc .

Take this how you want , but its from myself as a private member as will all future posts be , get over where i work .

    New Base Tent

I couldn't give a toss where you worked. If you have an opinion on gear I am interested in it gets absorbed like all others when hopefully making a sound decision to buy.
Didn't even know these tents existed till you posted your one, ta.
But I agree with Ebf as Far as Abe's question goes.
If you got it cheap thru your work that's your privilege as far as I am concerned.

Turns out this was a bit of a storm in a tea cup.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

I did answer Tui's question about the size etc , but i left out the supplier for non-advertising reasons . and will give a full report on the trip once we're back , hopefully with some action shots too .
as for where I got mine? , i think that is obvious by now . but you can get these from any Sports store of hunting and shooting outlet for RRP $999.00 maybe less if you ask nicely :-)

Fair go a bloody eel in the street. I just went out to feed the deer, it was blue sky when I got on my quad but twenty minutes later I was bloody saturated.
