If I was starting again I would get a cactus, have an old macpac, but would upgrade if I could justify it.

tatonka Bison, comfy pack with a heap of room. especially after a successful hunt and you have room to carry the meat out.

90l is big but you don't need to fill it up.
Went to buy some camouflage trousers the other day but I couldn't find any.

Have had Macpac Cascades Fairydown Endeavours and and now have a One Planet McMillan and would have to be the best and most comfy pack I have used.
80,85 and 90l options, Whakatane Outdoors does the best prices for One Planet in NZ.

I've got two one planet packs, the 'zip less' 25L for a day bag and the 'traverse' 38L for 2-3 day trips. The are bombproof and handle loads really well. I'll be getting something bigger from them soon.
