My phone on its last legs I'm looking at getting an other one what has a realy good camera for taking photos out side for work & I want a phone that can have the topo50 maps on & the GPS works as good If not better than the garmin what would you get il probably just get a refurbish one thanks
depending on price my a10 seems to do the job as far as camera goes
My standard recommendation is a Samsung with a decent case like Spigen tough Armor. The phones are waterproof so as long as you don't drop it on the screen it should survive the outdoors. Options to get one include buying the latest release (note 20 is next) on release day with all the discounts and free stuff and putting it on 2 degrees no interest finance. This actually works out cheaper than you think. Next best is buying last years flagship second hand or a samsung mid ranger. Galaxy A50, A70 etc isn't bad but my boy has one and it's definitely not quite as snappy as my note 9.
Get the one with the biggest battery and also grab a fast charging power bank.
Just been through all the new ph thing as well. I don't get along much with technology so have been procrastinating for ages.
Upgraded from a 2nd hand S3 to a new S8. Cheapest place I found was on TM.
Its supposed to be waterproof to 1.5M but I'm not going to test that out... I've put it in a protective case as well.
Added on the NZTopo50 maps app. Very good. Recommend it!
