That's a tricky question . I was a bit worried about ordering boots i haven't tried on for size before, but went with the same size as my Hanwag boots i was using and they fit perfectly . I would call them a snug fit though so i would use Lowa/ Hanwag boots as a sizing guide. Whatever fits with them should be good with Salewas, that's what i found anyway . Salewas come with an extra insole so if they are a slightly loose fit you can put the insole in for a snugger fit. Hope that helps
