Im starting to think that the best way to go about it will be to get a 50-60l for an overnight/weekender bag and a 30-40 ish for a day bag. Thanks for those links!! Exactly what I was looking for

How are the macpac torlesse/cascades? Seem to be able to get them in a variety of sizes and lots on trademe for good prices.
