I need to get something off my chest and my missus has had just about enough of my little rants so im posting one of them here!
With Companies like Ridgeline, Stoney Creek and Swazi who are proudly 'Kiwi owned' making hunting apparel for 'Kiwi hunters' hunting in 'Kiwi bush'.
Why is there camoflauge imagery of non native bush?
They are always of deciduous forest or something, Ridgelines is called 'buffalo camo', find me a buffalo in NZ bush for christs sake!
H&f and Huntech both have/had camo patterns in native bush, Huntech had a number of them for you to choose from.
So surely it can't be too hard to source/make camoflauge representative of NZ's native environment.
Am i wrong in thinking that with the price of some of these topshelf garments ($500+!!), its not too much to ask to expect a native camoflauge imagery to go with it?
Thoughts?
