    NZ made vest?

    G'day,

Looking for an NZ made vest for hunting. Kiwi made gear is always a preference though I will consider something made in Aus, the states or Europe, but nothing in asia.

Something warm in the winter that has a few pockets for my bits and bobs.

I've been looking at Stix Mill's multi pocket oilskin vest, they look good but haven't ever seen one. Any opinions on them or any other good quality options that can take beating through rough bush are appreciated.

I'm a fair tool myself already and I don't need help looking any moreso, so a hard no on anything camo.

One last thing, I'll probably wear it to the football and whatnot too. Doesn't need to be nice enough for a restaurant but I'd like to get my value out of it in the wintertime.

    cheers,

I rock a oilskin from Styx mill. Solid gear.

I've got a Styx mill and far south vest. Both are great and well made only difference is the lining, Styx is wool and the far south is fleece. Styx also has a inside pocket which is handy. Bothered great on a cold morning.

Thanks for the suggestions gentleman. I’ve narrowed it down to a handful and will show the boss, she can pick which she'd like to be seen with in public most.

I definitely err towards the ones with pockets as a muzzleloader hunter, always have plenty of things that don’t fit into my shot pouches.
