Hi Team, anyone lost the open hunting area layer on the NZTopo Maps app after the last update?
Any ideas?

Yeah, gone from my tablet too.
Is it still possible to turn it on in the settings? The 'i' icon in bottom right?
Or is the option for it completely removed?

Mine updated 12 hours ago and now have no hunting areas available in anyway I can see.
Pretty much sucks if that's what it is now. Was the only reason I spent any money on it.
Send the developers an email to ask them to fix it/reinstate the hunting areas. It may just have been an accident/bug that it was removed.
Just received this reply from the developer
Unfornutately the license and internal format has been changed by the service provider of this data. We are currently unsure if we can bring back this layer.
Kind regards,
Andreas

In that case, they better be sure that they can bring back my refund.
I just downloaded the topo 50 (iphone) and it does have the open hunting area overlay. It is advertised in the app store as having it.
My old phone (android) still has it too but I have no idea when it was last updated. Is it an iOS vs Android issue?
Android issue for me
The DOC hunting area overlay is back in the latest update:thumbsup:
Yeah see that. BUT for those in the east coast/central north island there isn't any differentiation between the DOC and Tuhoe areas, like it used to be.
It's better than not being there I guess.
