I currently have two shelter options for hunting... I either use a fly and a groundsheet or a 1 person bivi type tent.

The fly is fine in the bush but on the tops it is difficult to find somewhere suitable to pitch it and often I end up with wet feet or it flaps or it is only 10 inches off the ground and I can barely fit under it!

The bivi sweats like nothing else and I get half soaked, I can't move in it and I can't fit any of my stuff in it either.

So what is the solution for tops hunting?

Buy a bivi bag and keep using the fly? Or buy a good quality 2/3p tent so I a mate and or the dog will fit in there too?

What option and what product? I am in the USA at the moment so have a huge number of options. Keep in mind this is for tops only and needs to be at least three season capable, I will continue to use the fly in the bush.
