    The Old Knife.

    Gaday members,
Scored this knife off the NZHS forum as a prize if I remember correctly. Hopefully some one can full me in?

Anyway I was scratching thru some photos and it was around July 2014 when I received it.

Yes it has done a lot of work in 10 years, hundreds of rabbits and hares, ducks a lot of sheep and cattle when we were farming.A few deer and goats and I estimate 800/900 trout as in a good year I average 100 trout.

The last trout before I sent it in for an operation.

I have taken it to The Norseman...blacksmith at Norsewood who is going to drop the pins and fix a new blade for me.

A blade with the history needs restored. Cheers Dundee.

Done some research it was a winter story competition when I won it from this great Forum back in 2014.

    Prize:
Donated by John from: The Knife Guy - Home
    John's description:
Hard to find USA made Parker hunter - an excellent all round knife. This knife has never been sharpened, carried or used. The handles are laminated wood, A Great all round knife in the box with sheath. Parker Knives are true American classics. These knives were only manufactured for a short time (late 70's to late 80's) and are some of America's most classic hunters. Value $80 - 100
Overall: 208mm, Blade: 99mm Handle: Laminated wood, Condition: Mint
    Photos:

At the conclusion of voting all stories will be moved to The Magazine.

So start writing to win yourself a bloody nice knife!
