    Old school wooden singlet

    Anyone know where to get them these days?tried a few local farming stores but they only seem to do the synthetics these days,I prefer wool this time of the year as it’s still warm when wet.thanks.

    try a shearing gang....they will know for sure as plenty of guys (and big boobied rousies)still wear them!!!!

    Thought Farmalnds still had them they are the "MKM" Original Brand
    I use the lighter wollen MKM now - but I think last time I looked there they had the heavy ones too

    Wooden - some truth in that Re these singlets
    The shearers singlets almost turned to wood after a while as the hair (not wool) from the sheeps hooks would impregnate into the siglet and not wash out and after time the singlet would get that chocked and thick with the hair it would almost stand up by self

    Also RD1 will get them for you. I also recently bought two merino short sleeved from the wool company pt way sth of taihape towards Palmy. Light and very warm.

    I’m wearing icebreaker merino ones, very warm and light but not super durable I suspect.
