    Overtrouser, stone glacier or similar

Who is using what and what do you think of them?... i am after some decent over trousers that i can get on over boots with a full length zip. The stone glacier M5 Pants look good but not the easiest to get here in nz by the looks.

Send nzasia a message. They might have some in stock.

I did so recently looking for a SG top.
They had it and sent it to my local H+F

I dont know how durable You want them , but a couple of years ago I got a light pair of stoney creek ones for a Fiordland trip and they were quite good , compact to pack and light. Yes I would not expect them to last 6 months if I was wearing them 5 days a week every week, but for a a few trips per year in the wet they can do the job.

I will bag the shit out of all the "hunting brands" stuff to anyone that will listen but last year I tore my good wet weather pants and packed a shitty one Sunday whilst doing K Lines, and went to town, farm stores were shut so I went to the green shed and got a pair of Hunters Element Obsidian to get me through untill I could get some decent ones again. They were bloody good, wore them every day for entire summer doing K Lines on and off the bike etc getting soaked for 3hrs every morning. I've still got them and they are just starting to leak a little bit now where they're worn a bit on the insides from getting on and off the bike, you'd have to do a shit tonne of hunting and be a real rough bugger to get that kind of wear on them, they breathe reasonable and have full length zips you can zip from either end so you can dump heat and get to your pockets underneath easy etc. Been given a pair of SC dreambulls as part of a promotion through a supplier we use bit think I might get another pair of the HE for hunting only

Ive got a pair of the hunters elements but they arent very waterproof anymore and quite old now. I want them fairly sturdy, enough for snow grass etc

I’m not sure if these would suit but I’ve got a pair of size large ESS vent x overtrousers that I’ve only worn for half a day on the tops that you could have for $120 if you are thinking of going that way.
Only moving them on as they are slightly too big for me.
    Very durable and well made.
    Cheers
