Thread: Playing with leather

The latest made for a friend after he bought a new knife.
A mish-mash of designs and styles because I have had to make it out of scrap pieces and offcuts and remains from other projects.
That said he also requested it be lined with nice soft suade which also makes it exponentially trickier to make tidily when the whole design is compromised due to lack of resources.
Also likes the laced look but didn't have enough to lace whole sheath hence the mixture of lacing/stitching. I justed tried to incorporate all the things he likes in some way.
That said I think it's turned out ok, a little quirky in looks but feels great in the hand and looks better in the flesh than the pics. The band around the top is the suade the sheath is %100 internally lined with and is fixed with hidden stitching then folded back over itself then continues down into the sheath internally.

Oddball-ish , but I like it
