Good call out. Would hate to need to grab it and it not be there.
Mines in a Twinneedle....there bombproof mate!!!!!:thumbsup:
Nice to point out for people, I keep mine in a convenient pocket rather than rely on the strap
Attachment 63443this old green bugger is over 30:thumbsup:
I could make you one out of kydex, would need it in hand to do though.
I use a Twinneedle Small Radio Pouch to hold my ACR Res-Q-Link + PLB. Fits in perfectly and it is bomb proof. I didn't trust the neoprene & velcro pouch it came with, wouldn't survive 5 minutes in the Kaimais. :thumbsup:
Radio Pouch | TwinNeedle
mine are a tad rough compared to your one, but it is 47 years old, well, both of them are :P
@Bryan. I have the same PLB and the neoprene pouch it came with didnt last. Been looking fo ra pouch that will be nice and snug. You find teh top to the Twin Needle is sufficient? That was my only doubt.
@kiwijames
Yup its plenty strong enough. Has a strong bungy paracord attached to a strong plastic clip. Quality materials used and very well made and my PLB doesn't budge in there. I just tightened the cord until it was a super snug fit. Went this way verses their larger radio/plb pouch as it would have been too long.
The KTI's seem to have a solid case, will check the belt loop though.
I bought a small canvas belt bag that I water proofed. Outdoor Adventure Southland have a range
I got Twinneedle to make me one for my ACR.
Military strength.
