Thread: Pocket Knives

I don't know what the pricing is like in NZ , but Spyderco do make very good knives .
Even though I don't have one at the moment , I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one .

Also do you have a preference as to what type of locking you like
Personally I only own liner locks now . I have sold all my lock backs .

Funny that, I got pissed off with liner lockers. More that the ones I used were sloppy. Is the Seb a liner lock?
Think I may buy a couple of Spyercos, a Delica and an Endura. One can be the EDC and the other can go in the fishing vest to replace an older Buck (which for a cheap knife is really nice).

Looked at the Benchmade and they are a nice build but I don't like the shape of most of their blades.

I'd personally buy the Spyderco's if you have already handled them and liked them .
There should not be any movement in a liner lock of any kind . The whole idea of the angled locking surfaces is that they are self adjusting for wear over time .
Lock backs annoy me because you can't close them one handed as easily as you can the liner lock .
