Portable power banks... what are you using

Guys, what is the go-to portable power bank for outdoor use ?

Good capacity, light weight, small size etc.

    Cheers

Not really what you mean but seen a nifty one that came out the bottom of a cooking pot. some fancy technical process that converted heat into power.

Probably have to cook dinner for the all blacks to charge the phone but wank factor would be high.

What are you wanting to use it for?

This guy is one of my favourite YouTubers. As another option to @csmiffy idea.

I have a cheap single 18650 power bank that I use to top up my cell phone if I forget to charge it overnight I think I paid $10.00 at the warehouse. It's small so fits in my pocket and almost fully charges my phone. I have bought a bigger one that's solar powered (I bought it as a light) but haven't used it to charge my phone. I keep it on my van dash so it's alway ready to go. I'm unlikely to carry it into the bush as its heavy.

its been great so far. not water proof to speak of but been damp before. They also do a triangle shape but liked the flat one to put in packets etc.

You could try a Nitecore F2 which takes two 18650's - can be charged from USB, solar etc and output to any USB device.

two 3500's give you 7000mAh which should charge the average mobile at least twice before needing to be recharged.

I've just received our new dual USB chargers that are Power banks as well (leave the batteries in and the charger becomes a powerbank) - neat actually - best to use the 18650 batteries, but you can use others

I got one of these in from the states a couple of years back and its been awesome.

Can charge AAs and aaa's as well as anything with a usb port. Can also get a cig lighter adapter for it. Not sure about your 18650's tho

    Ravpower Ace Series 32,000mAh
Has about 10 or so full phone refills, haven’t emptied it yet.
About as large capacity as I could find about 12 months ago
Downside is I had an issue the other day with airport w Queenstown not letting it on a flight as it is above 100Wh. Air NZ eventually said it was ok, but had to pick it up next time I flew through

I have both an Anker and a Samsung unit here, both 10K, both last well, bulky but one unit will run LED camp lights for two to three nights and one charge on my phone.

I've got this one. The solar panel is more for looks so don't expect anything out of that. Gives the phone 3 or so chargers. I think it's alright for the money has had about 4 trips into the bush.
