Quick Stix for trekking poles: anyone interested

Looking at ordering Quick Stix for trekking poles from USA. Ordering more than a few makes shipping somewhat more palatable.

    Cost is US$36.99 per unit.
Depending on number ordered, shipping comes down to US$12-15 per unit.

No commitment or money upfront. Just gauging interest. Anyone interested PM me and I'll get in touch once landed and final cost determined (including local courier).

I'm just looking for a solid way to get a positive rest above Tussock - these looked the ticket. Light, solid, simple and repurposing stuff rather than more shit.

Did you use poles pre-quick stix? What sort of accuracy are you able to get?

I did use them pre quickstix as they are my tent poles and have actually ended up shooting 75% of my animals off sticks both with just the handle looped over each other to create a v and with the quickstix not sure if I prefer either. Accuracy wise Im only using them when I can't get prone. I shot a fallow Saturday at 310 off them and used my pack as a rear rest. Accuraccy depends entirely of being able to get yourself or the rear of the rifle steady.

Same. Keen as. Be perfect for kids who struggle to hold full sized rifle up and prone isn’t an option

Hey all. 6 came in and I've contacted those that were interested in date order - so the 5 additional I bought in are gone.

There are 3-4 people that I didn't contact that had expressed an interest. So if anyone wants to reach out to others and bring some in probably worthwhile.

I just did this to share costs of shipping.

It ended up (dividing the cost and shipping by 6)
    $81.17 each
    NZ postage/courier (non-rural)
    $7.20

    Total: $88.37

I went through https://sandsarchery.com/ and they used FedEx - which while a bit pricey, get it here faster than USPS (delivered to my door in about a week) and have good tracking etc.
