Use them every year in the tahr blocks and other members of the party can be miles away over ridges etc and can still make contact sweet as. Only "downfall" I would say is that they have a battery pack so need charging rather than replacing batteries but a full charge lasts a week in the blocks anyhow turning on each hour and checking in with others and the odd session walking someone in on an animal
