    Will have a look cheers.

Anyone tried the new Tahr XP? or any of the newer Swazi coats? What are they like for weight?

Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

yip , shes also called the Tarn , Mines been to Fiordland twice already , It would be the hardest wearing jacket i've tested , While its not as compact as the 3/4 zip jackets out there i prefer not to have to pull a wet jacket over my head.
For the ones that say it will be too noisey walking through the bush , its not , and i find when its wet the bush is noisey anyway .
Products i have tested in Fiordlad , Hunters Element XLR , Huntlite , Swari Tahr . Still go back to my Tarn for a bullet proof jacket. Might try Rob's new XLR Extreme this Roar for a compact overnight flycamping jacket

Thanks. I currently have a Macpac jacket so I don't really care about the noise...If its wet enough to be wearing a jacket in the bush I must be doing something wrong

Most of the hunting type jackets that quote 100% waterproof and yet breathable absorb water like a sponge and then don't dry very quickly. I now have a macpac hollyford which is quite long and have been pleased with its performance both in fiordland and westland.
Save our Tahr. They belong in the southern alps.
