    Rangefinder display colour/ colour blindness

So new range finder time and was planning to get one at the sika show. Slight problem though that I'm partially colour blind, standard red on green and can't see the red display when over green. I've tried mates leica and leupold which are no good.

Can anybody point me to brands with a black display or other colour that might work? Not after top of the line unit but good solid unit that will range to a 1k reliably.

Delta RF2000 appears popular, can anybody confirm this has a black display?

I have the same issue. My Bushnell one was black and very easy to see. My Leica not so much. I get around it by just pointing the rangefinder at a background that the display stands out on to read it.

Could you tie a plastic card on to it and quickly flick it infront after to read it?

My older bushnel Arc was black. May be worth researching their newer models.

FYI black sucks in low light. I’m not aware of anyone that does green but contrary to ‘common sense’ green laser and reticle options are actually really nice and easy to pick up compared to red.

Yer could do but it's just a annoyance. Just my hand would probably work or as Shearer does. Guess I'll just have to try out all and if no go learn to deal with it.

I'm colourblind. I've set my swaros as bright as they'll go and they're OK. Sometimes I range then quickly put my hand over the lenses making them dark so I can read them but that's only if it's super sunny. Mates burris lrf bins are super bright and I can read them easy.

My Leupold RX-1300 is a black display, pretty sure there was one for sale on here recently?!
