    Re doing DWR coating

Is there anywhere in NZ that dose a recoat of DWR coating?

I've used Grangers, and nikwax stuff but only seams to last a few outings and its shit again.

Not sure if its just because im a retard who cant do it but never seems to work like a new coating dose.

    Cheers

The spay-on DWR coatings are never as good as the original factory applied ones.

Some of the DWR sprays must be heat activated - i.e spray your jacket and then put it in the tumble drier. Have you tried doing this?

Agree they’re never as good as original coating but if you use the correct product you should get a substantial amount of use before application. My own experience is successful, 30 plus days of use.
If you want a tip other than following the instructions, make sure the item is perfectly clean before application.

Twin Needle and Cactus both offer it as a service.

I've used them both and they were as good as factory.

Disclosure - this was some time ago now.
