    Re-sole Meindls

I've got a 5-6 year old pair of Island Pros, the soles on which are stuffed. I am considering having them re-soled as the uppers and linings are ok. Anyone had it done? What's it cost?

    Re-sole Meindls

I re-soled some Haix for the same reason. So far so good. Would do it again. Can't remember cost but about 180 I think. Done by Ezi Direct in Taupo.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Alan Perrett in Ashburton does all the Meindls for the importer Stager Sport from memory.

    Hi,
I had the same issue. Stager replaced the soles (including the rand) on a pair of Island Pros for me and they came down at least half a size, making them unusable. I ended up giving them to a mate and buying a pair of Lowa Tibets.

Dropping a half size would make these unwearable so I will just flog them til they completely fall to bits then move on to wearing out some of the other 4 pairs of boots on the shelf
