Well. I went to the Chiefs game last night. Had my Macpac resolution jacket on. I was pretty damp at the end. I've had it for about 5 year now, it had a fair bit of use. Id always put any dampness down to me sweating underneath but after last night, I must have a few leaks. USGI ISSUE GEN III LEVEL 6 L 6 ACU DIGITAL GORETEX LIGHTWEIGHT JACKET NWT | eBay $160 nzd including freight. These look like they wont take up too much room in my pack. Theres other nice looking milsurp stuff (british and US) but its just a bit bulky for what I want.
In the past Ive used a stony creek shooters jacket (heavy) swazi Tahr anorak (I put holes in it plus theyre expensive). We'll see how this one goes.
