    RED Rafts

    Hi Folks.

I am looking at purchasing a raft.

Does anyone own a RED raft?
If you do I am super keen on your thoughts.
Im particularly interested in a 390.

    https://www.trademe.co.nz/4334858221

Have guided rafts commercially in NZ and overseas so plenty of experience just never seen a RED raft in the flesh.

Would look at other makers. Personally I would love an incept!!

So.... if by anychance....any of you have a raft (self bailer) of any make you are looking to sell I would be interested.

    No bucket boats tho. Cheers

"Designed and tested right here in NZ" means made in China.

"Commercial grade material and construction" means PVC (usually)

China made anything tend to use Chinese fabrics and glues. They are known to not be as durable as European/American and Japanese fabrics and glues.

Rafts made in NZ by some of the long time raft manufacturers have moved onto the latest generation of polyurethanes and high frequency welded seams. No glues to let go on a hot day.

15 year commercial use warranties on those NZ made rafts.

But for casual use and well looked after, those RED rafts may be quite OK

If you want quality and safety. Pick a name called INCEPT. Why? Dont have a clue but have 2 of their rafts. They know their rafts like Hugh Hefner knew his wimin. Bullet proof reliable.

I wouldn't have called Heffs women bullet proof but they might be reliable who knows.

Mate, touch base with Sammy at Rotorua rafting. Most of the Rotorua companies have been using Chinese boats for the last few years. They've come a long way having been really open to feedback. If you go direct to the supplier, you can get one landed at your door for about $2.5k.
