I’ve just been researching a diy waterproof brew for seam sealing to stoneycreek fly. @csmiffy is right but apparently you want to find the scent free turps and the one I’d seen was 1/1 ratio but 1/2 probably works as well.
I didnt know scent free was a thing, the turps smell persists about a week, but on some things like gloves where it gets into the lining a bit longer. Meths might be a good diluent as some silicons recommend it for clean-up
