Ok Im after the rollerpack ... not the woman attached to it.
Just want to beg, borrow or buy one for a couple of months.
Have had shoulder surgery and it looks like its going to be OK for a very light day a day pack in a couple of weeks ( or a month ).
But really really really would like to get away for a proper hunt for a few days somewhere a bit more remote.
One of these Dixon rollerpack's would be perfect. Im bloody fit and if I could keep the weight off the shoulder with the waist harness you wouldn't see me for the dust !!!!!
Have a few locations where it would be perfect ... mountain bikeable all the way to the hut. Good fishing, pigs and deer.
Would like to get out on the back end of the roar and one of these might just make it happen.

Actually saw some guys wheel barrowing all there gear along a track in the dark one place last year... pig hunters ah. They were taking in lots of beer. Planning to drink it all and carry out the pigs. Good plan ... not sure how it worked out though.

Good luck to all of you for the roar.

What's a roller pack? Got a picture of one so we know what you're talking about?

I assume that using your waist belt on a normal pack doesnt do the trick?

If you cant find one, get a bike with a trailor for it, you might be able to adapt the mountain bike trailor into something Similar to that pictre

wouldnt be hard to make something like that out of an old pushchair. Cant see it being a lot of use though.

That looks a good idea. I reckon I could knock one up to hook onto the waist belt of an overnight pack.

Im just going to go out to the gun room and look at what I would have as a suitable donor harness. Maybe take the frame out of my tatanka lastenkraxe

A pair of telescoping tent poles could be good for a quick and dirty test run.
