Rooftop tents
So, I'm going to be in the market for a rooftop tent this year, am looking at a hardshell, family size ( roughly 200cmx240cm sleeping space ), with ability to rum a batwing awning and annex eventually.
Have see the ikamper ( little expensive for my blood ), expeditions which is also expensive as... but looks great,
The bushbuck armourdillo and the intense camping tent. The bushbuck and the intense one are similar price. But am unsure on the bushbuck... well being bushbuck.
Anyone have experience with a hardshell family sized rooftop tent ??
Cheers

Not quite family size but have a alu cab.Really good quality I would have gone the bush company one if the were stocked in nz.On the batwing do not and I mean do not get the rhino bat wing. They have a really weak point were they pivot with plastic knuckles the are designed to break if the wind gets more than fart strength.Spend more and get either bush company, alu cab or any other of the better brand awnings. With the rtt if is a balance between keeping the weight low and getting a good quality tent.

Seen the expeditionz batwing canvas made in South Africa and self supporting with additional bills for when the weather gets up.
