Thread: Which Safe to go for?

Taff there's no time restriction here in NZ, the 2 ratings simply deal with a minimum metal thickness for a safe. A strong room is also acceptable though.

Smidey, go for a 7 minimum I reckon, it'll hold 5 scoped rifles comfortably. However. If you have the budget, spend the most you can afford, and then a bit more. Think of the value of your gear, and how much it would cost to replace.

To me it's odd folks are happy to drop a couple of grand in just one rifle and scope and ammunition and clothing and gear and everything that goes with shooting, but then try to save a couple of bucks and get the cheapest safe on TM.

Personally I'd go for E cat safe even if you're not thinking about getting your B or E later in life. It's a small cost in the grand scheme of things in the years to come.
