Well, taking a little chill out time I watched the vid, its was odd. Then I searched the guy and found things like this
Bowhunter Adam Greentree Avoids Conviction for Hunting Deer in National Park - Sporting Shooter and

" Adam Green tree almost killed by wild Hog"
I think that lilly is well guilded.

Iv had an older Delorme inreach for years, on 7 day trip with normal use I ended with 70% battery life. Looking at who he is hes possibly been linking to social media which flattened his battery so maybe take a recharge pack?

He was supposedly stuck in a gorge so limited sky, theres no guarantee any standard PLB would have been much better though may have .
I dont know whats going on with the message delays, Iv never had an issue and I found the delorme guys very good to deal with. Iv dropped my SE 4 feet onto a concrete floor, the screen broke but its fully functional.
Unfortunatly with the switch to Garmin they wont repair it so Ill get the new Garmin 66i in a week or to. Ill give it a good work out and if it performs as well as the old one It will be the only plb I will carry. But I have spent the better part of my life before GPS and PLBS were even a thing so that may be giving me a slightly different outlook.
    Just a slopy retrobate
