Thread: Scary Inreach fail

    That’s the social media dude that got done for poaching, right?

    I have an older delorme Inreach. In all the years I’ve been using it I’ve had one message fail. Was in trees and the recipient never got the message even though it said it had sent.

    I’ve accidently activated the SOS by mistake and the rescue services were on to it instantly. So I’d have confidence in mine for rescue situations but I also carry a normal PLB (purchased prior to the Inreach), so in a real emergency I’d press both!.

    More evidence to support the fact that overseas hunters should have to use a guide to access westland. If he had the local knowledge of that area theres many relatively straight forward routes off those tops.
