Thread: Scary Inreach fail

yeah it was mine, 5 day delay for messages to get out. then a confused wife when she gets a text saying i'm somewhere when i;ve moved a few 100 kms to another area and no phone reception!

got emails back from inreach regarding thew delay... they are trying to say its the wrong contact number (same message convercation i have used in the past so the number is right) yet to get a decent helpful person on the end of the phone to get to the bottom of the problem

its why i always have a @CooeeBay PLB have always wondered about the big red byutton on the inreach. had the same happen years ago with an early SPOT decive, my end said messages sent but werent going through. had search and rescue show up in the helicopter checking on me as folks at home were getting concerned
