School me on sea kayaks
Looking at getting a couple of sea kayaks for the family to start exploring the sounds. I think I'm after 1 seaters, which have enough room to store a bit of gear to go camping/hunting/fishing.
I don't really know what to look for/brand reputation so any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks

I've got one of these and recommend it. Stable, plenty of storage (should fit your rifle too) and made in NZ.

Ocean Prowler models, (I have 4.3 ultra) popular stable set up for fishing. good storage too.
Ocean Cabo 2 seater for fishing and exploring. Good storage and easy to steer with the rudder. I have a Chinese outboard we can mount when we want to travel a bit further or want to be lazy.
Son (13yrs) Is now in a Viking Espri.
