    Shooting Table/Bench

Hi Folks. I’m wanting to buy or have built a decent, portable shooting table / bench for personal use. There doesn’t seem much around in the retail market. Does anyone know someone who may have one for sale or who has built one?

There is a very good portable shooting bench around - its flat pack and made from 1 sheet of ply I think, possibly 2. Google should help, or possibly some of the LR guys. It packs flat in to the back of your car or truck, quick and easy to assemble, left or right handed, and very stable.

Check out Stuckeys shooting bench, google will get you there. Wouldn’t be too hard to knock something similar up

I made one from a fold up saw horse... https://www.mitre10.co.nz/shop/jobma...horse/p/369978

I just cut a sheet of thick ply to a shooting bench shaped top, screwed some packers onto the saw horse to raise the height and screwed the ply to the packers.

Will get a pic when I am in the shed later today if you want.

It folds up flat and is very sturdy. I use it with a $10 folding camp chair and a couple of sand bags....
