ok, i want to see your knives, kinda like show us your tits, but with knives
When i get my new batt charger i'l take a pic of mine...

Good idea for a thread mate. Hopefully some other chaps (including yourself add to it...

My hand made knife, made by Marcos Doran of Custom Knife Worx. Material is 12C27.

It is Marcos's drop point hunter design but with a few mods and extras I wanted, which is the fantastic thing about a custom knife

Mercator (the old standby), there are a few floating round the house.
Knives of Alaska Alpha Wolf, the new main knife for goats and deer.
Knives of Alaska Jaeger, camp boning knife.

After using my mates one of these the other week and not needing to sharpen it to bone out two deer - I had to get one.



Heading out for a look in the morning - hopefully I can give it a good workout.

Couldn't find my Mercator...

I like the Gerber folder the most.

Svord general purpose I try to use for boning.

mercators... no 1 choice realy
svord peasant... just got it to try out
gerber... good skinner, but not the best on bung holes

just found the top knife in my pops shed, worn out markings
found this next one at a second hand shop $10- german
green river skinner
white plastic i found, someone has modified it big time an rough with a grinder, i got it sharp and doing all the sheep with it
svord boner to replace the white plastic

pig sticker, not your normal, good for hacking tracks, heavy and sharp
bowie, never used, keeping it mint, not sure why

Gerber Metolius... $90 at H & F.

Gave it a good work out last Sunday morning on a young sambar - really impressed with the knife. Gutted, and prepared the young sambar including cutting up through its ribs and it still held its edge perfectly. It held its edge so good that Raging Bull now has a good scar to show for it when trying to turn the deer into a backpack.

Mine have cut more beef and sheep than game, he is the lineup, I have several of the same in the draw as well.

Also in the photo is my small diamond steel, oval diamond steel, a normal steel and my Apex pro kit.

I don't use them much but by cricky they are sharp

This little shit. I found the grip quite awkward, had a good blade though.
