Here's my first crack at making a knife, nowhere near as good as what you fellas are making.
My metal work is rough but I think that suits the "reclaimed" sheep shear aspect and the blade is plenty sharp.
Does anyone know where I can get a decent Leather sheath made for it?
Try saddlers.
Mate is one and he can make a good one.
Try John Leth.
Makes awesome gear, and very reasonable. He is in Auckland.

Hey mate, the shears had an existing clip(?) or something welded to the handle where I drilled out and put the brass pin in. Then I beat the shit out of the handle with a ball peen to fit the antler and once it looked like a good enough fit I 2 part epoxied under the steel handle across the antler. Seems sturdy as, just a bit concerned the shiny handle may blow my cover bush stalking.
The Fang seeing some action at last.... @viper this is wicked sharp mate!!!!
Thanks for the contact @Ross Nolan Johns a good bugger and does awesome work.
