My step son recently went on a trip to South America and bought me back this interesting little number from Argentina. The handle is ostrich claw.

It looks nice Dougie but the handle looks as though it was designed for a cack hander.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Hard to see what pic I'm selecting on the phone, hopefully this one isn't cropped?

I see there a couple of other Bark River fans on here, when it comes to knives I don't let a higher price get in the way of what I want, a decent knife can save your life. I am just a few short weeks away from having the money sorted for the Aurora 3V.

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

That is a very tidy upgrade. Our drop point is slowly getting worn down. The heft in the svord is quite a plus if you are gutting quickly.

This is my old knife that I bought with my own money when I was a whole 7 years old. Still holds a good enough edge and been used as my fishing knife for a few years now.

I had one of those when I was a boy as well GM. I am now sitting here wondering what happened to it. It is highly likely one of my brothers took a shine to it when I went into the green machine.

Pretty sure it is pine cone. Stabilised in resin.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds
