I used some Himalayan cedar for a different project and found it quite soft, pretty and rot resistant, but not sure if it's strong enough for knife handles?

I got this Ruike . Under 70$, really impressed by the quality. The blade is well centered and quite rigid once opened . The pivoting axis is on ceramic ball bearings .
I just need to take it hunting and see how well it holds an edge when cutting a deer.
The Ruike knives have a good reputation, good S/S blade 14C28N, easy to sharpen and the price is excellent!

I've got one. Like the sweep on the blade and smooth bearing.
I think Its 12C27
14C28N it is. Pretty rare at this price point
Just finished for an order, gut hook Taipan, stabilized curly maple from France, 14c28N .
Sorry, original photo big , I now have a makers mark also
love the makers mark......Gelandagan over on huntingnut makes/sells the wee machines to do them...he makes knives too.
you have come a long way Viper. lovely work.
Yes he does...however all you need is a car battery charger, salt water and a vinyl stencil , you can etch as deep as you want and it's sharp and concise.
YouTube is my friend , very easy to do and basically for free.
The makers mark with the two snakes and the eye are a a nod to Medusa. Thanks for the comments, really appreciated.
hmmmm Medusa and only two heads.....she must have been around young Greta as of late LOL.
Nice design and logo.
I really like your new logo.
Who makes the vinyl stencils, or do you make them yourselves?
Excellent work!

@diana2 , I'm a sign writer so graphic art / design is part of my trade and of course cutting vinyl lettering and stencils is just part of my day.
Thanks for the comment on the makers mark, it has certainly added another element to the look of the knives as well as branding.
Very cool, love it!
