Here's one of my favorite folders, it's a Boker with a 90mm VG10 blade which is very easy to open!!
It sits very nicely in the pocket and only weighs 88gr so I forget it's there which is nice.

Well with plenty of time in lock down comes plenty of time for dirty old Viper to slither into his little workshop and make sharp things.
Two knives nearing the end of their builds and I will post photo's once finished.
This is the handle detail from a new model. First time using Desert Ironwood for handle scales, stunning natural colour and grain structure. Hope everyone is staying safe and well, keep the chins up guys, we got this.Name: DSC_0114.JPG

All these knives being made has encouraged me to get back into the shed and pick up some old projects. Progress report to come tomorrow

Few old projects out the the box and into the fire today. Couple of petty/utility kitchen knives, a small game skinner(actually the first knife I ever profiled just never finished it as I fucked up the grind, managed to salvage it today with a bit of draw filing) and a camp nessimuk to go with my cbk as a pair.

Want a rustic/aged timber finish handle for the muk, any ideas? Thinking I maybe recycle some old tool handles or somthing

Finished the little utility kitchen knife up today. More a practice piece than anything, wanted to try a hidden tang. Turned out OK but a bit plain. Should have left some forge scale on for interest.

    Cuts pretty good...

@Nick-D I wouldn't call that plain, nice clean lines looks very appealing to me.

Looks cool. What's the wood? Coconut palm?
Bit of mustard forced patina or a couple of years use for character

No idea man, mystery timber that a mate gave to me. Can't order any fresh supplies so scrabbling around with what I have on hand. Oiled with deck and furniture oil haha

It's 1095 so will patina up pretty quick. Already taken o. Some character from that chopping session
