This is my latest " best friend " .
Its an old 1940T Schrade liner lock knife .
This things Carbon blade is " wet your pants " sharp , but very delicate .It only gets used for fine work and lunch duties , cutting sandwiches , peeling apples .
Hard work is reserved for the other two I carry each day , a CRK Seb and a Leatherman Surge , those plus my mini torch and I'm good to go .

This is a great old knife .
It just has something about it , a X factor that I cant describe .
Its funny if you get it out in public to do a cutting task . The first thing people say is "cool knife , my father / grandfather had an old knife like that " .:)

Parcel arrived today.:)
Spyderco Stretch
Spyderco Delica 4
ESSE Zancudo
Attachment 25445
The Stretch is great in the hand, probably a bit big for an EDC but will give it a go. The Delica is straight away my favourite. Razor sharp.
There was plenty of room in a 3lb size limited parcel cost from the US so I grabbed the ESSE for fun and it too looks a good little EDC. Not as sharp as the Spydercos but yet to see a strop or hone and looks as though it will come up very sharp.
Spyderco make a very knife , you will really grow to appreciate them I'm sure .
I've had a few and have never had any complaints about their quality .

We had an antique dinner gong that she hated, wooden base with metal plaque that said "Sierra Leone 1905".
The gong was suspended by red cord from 18" long elephant tusks.
I was going to sell it on TM, and was out at Svord picking up some knives when the subject of Ivory came up, and the difficulties around selling it, seems I'd only be able to sell it through an auction house......so a deal was done......I got this and a Peasant Knife.......now she says I'm not allowed to get blood on them
