I mostly do it for fun . ive sold a few ,but it mostly just covers the materials . had a go at a small production run of hunting knives , and sold a few . I really like making reproductions of old knives . this is a copy of the type of knife the nz bushrangers like von tempsky probably would have used .

heres a carving knife I made for my uncle . being a spearfisherman yourself I thought you would appreciate the sheath. its moki skin I speared and tanned

Wow I bet that could tell a few stories.
I've had very little luck tracking down its heritage , and some very knowledgeable people have been trying to help ,
from the pattern and a few manufacturing details it was made sometime between 1850 -1890 . That's a bit vague I know but its the best I've got :)
I carry it everyday at work , and it earns it keep .
