    An old torch. Along side a SN its 3+ x times the weight, 4-5 times the price,runs on D cell batteries and only 1000 lms. A lux comparison would be useful I think .

    Was out foxing last night spotting form the ute with light force 170 and trying to shoot with my ksn led torch on the rifle, it just doesn't have enough oomph to make out the bodies well enough past 150 yards eyes are no problem, but shooting around ewes and lambs you want to see the body. I find it no worries for deer though at the ranges I want to shoot

    What's the mod to boost them up?

    Removing the silicone dome from the xml. or dedoming. Iv used the petrol method dscribed here. Tok about 2 1/2 hrs soaking and it just floated off.
