@msingleton If I am worn out from a big day and not eating enough I could get cold in the fairydown Polar.
Other times I roast. So the answer is buy the bigger 1.1 kg halo and take a down jacket as well that you can wear in your bag or as a layer when glassing

How are you guys that have the domex superlight getting on with them? Particularly in the colder months. Is it more designed to be a summer bag? And how are they lasting?
    thanks

i use mine all year round, in colder weather use a silk sleeping bag liner and in summer dont worry about it as it adds afew degrees to the bags rating

I would still use liner in summer to keep main bag clean/ absorb your body sweat etc and leave main bag partly open to control heat. Got our old great outdoors cold kiwi bags out last night.ever so slightly lighter n smaller than the macpac700 escapade might get chucked in my SAR pack instead as that's 99% carting around pack with little chance ever needing to use sleeping gear etc lol

have a cotton one for summer the silk one increases the heat rating something crazy so use the silk in colder weather
