How buggered is it? Check on You Tube for DIY repair. I fixed mine by taking zip to start point, squeezing zip head together gently with long nose pliers and...voila!
Twinneedle in chch if your happy to send it.
An itch ... is ... a desire to scratch
local drycleaners MAY have folks who do it...we got one done a few years back for not huge amount of dosh.
Definitely Twin Needles
Twin Needle has a good reputation, but it is only a zip.
If you can't sort it yourself then any good clothing alteration outfit or an upholstery shop should be able to replace it no sweat.
Your zip is probably not buggered, just the zip head. Easy as to replace if you know how, AND have the right size of zip head. If it is just the zip head then it should take about 10-15 minutes to fix by somebody who knows what they are doing. Squeezing the head together is usually just a temporary fix as the zip head wears out, making it weaker, then it opens up. Possibly a local saddler, or repair shop has the gear to fix it, Twin Needle certainly has. There are a couple of YKK zip wholesalers in NZ, I think Topfab is one, the other is based in ChCh, cant remember their name. Contact them and ask who buys their product in your area and they should be able to point you in the right direction to get it fixed.
If its more than the zip head cos you've buggered the teeth or coil, then send it to Twin Needle.
Twin Needle are the best. Stand over their work too.
