Thread: sleeping mat replacement time - Whats good?

On my last trip down the river trip I used my sleeping mat for the first time in likely ten years, It like most things I sleep with it hadn't aged well

it done the whole blister look and go down during the night so I ended up throwing it on the fire

to say i'm out of touch with what is good is an understatement,

Id like something that packs small and light but is of reasonable build to handle use as some of the ones iv looked at look very very delicate

Id prefer not to spend a whole weeks wages on it and am happy to wait for it to come from overseas
something for pack walking in trips ect

what have you guys that know things bought lately, or otherwise whats good?
